TBR Not Totally on a Tuesday: Before I Die by Jenny Downham

So sorry to all of my readers that I did not publish my To Be Read on a Tuesday. It has been so busy at my house because of Christmas. Also I am going to be away for the next few days so I will not be able to blog. I will return on the 29th. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Joyous Winter! Now on with the TBR book of the day!

Before I Die by Jenny Downham

Book Flap Summary:

Everyone has to die. We all know it. With only a few months of life left sixteen-year old Tessa knows it better than most. She's made a list, though- ten things she want to do before she dies. Number one is sex. Starting tonight. But getting what you want isn't easy. And getting what you want doesn't always give you what you need. And sometimes the most unexpected things become important.

This was once again one of my many mooches. I think I might be addicted! I mooched this book having only read one review about it because 1) the cover, if you thought I was a sucker for Polaroid, you haven't even begun to know how crazy I am about black and white photos 2) I must have had a thing for death at the time because I added it to my wishlist around the same time as Thirteen Reasons Why 3) this is Jenny Downham's debut novel and I love to give first time writers a chance. Why does it keep moving up in my pile but not getting read? Well that's a bit of a mystery. I pick it up want to read it but then find an excuse not to, still putting it near the top of the pile. It even sat by my computer for a week in an effort to convince myself to read it. I keep thinking, READ IT, READ IT, READ IT, but there it sits. I don't think I am afraid of crying, like I have heard from other reviewers. Nor do I have issues with the topic of sex. So why is it that I haven't read it? I couldn't tell you. Not because I would have to kill you, but because I honestly don't know. So give me an argument! Leave me a comment and tell me why I should read it!

On a side note I would like to share with you these adorably wrapped packages going to my friends this Christmas! I did all the wrapping and decorating myself. The paper is recycled from grocery bags and I added fun stickers, paper punch-outs and a bit of paint. I am so proud of how they turned out. If you have any questions on how I made the wrapping drop them in the comments. As far as questions as to whats in them, well that is going to have to wait because my friends might be reading!

See you again on the 29th!

Post-Project for Awesome Awesomeness: Christmas Presents for Charity

I let all of you know about Project for Awesome 2008 on the 18th and I wanted to give you an update of the charities I have or wish to supported. This is not meant to shove charity down your throat, but is just letting you what issues impacted me most.

Wigs for Kids- After learning more about this charity from doctornoises's video I will be growing my hair out again to donate to this cause. I have previously donated 14 inches of my hair to Lock of Love, however Wigs for Kids, unlike Locks of Love, donates the wigs they make for free to children who have lost their hair due to radiation treatments. I couldn't imagine life with out my hair, it is sort of my trademark. I had a friend in elementary school who died of cancer and I know Andy would be incouraging to donate my hair so a child with cancer can have a little bit of normal in their stressful lives. I will need to grow my hair a bit more though because right now if I cut 12 inches my hair would be rather short.

The Lupus Foundation- I am planning on donating some of my Christmas money to The Lupus Foundation. Why you might ask, well because Julia Nunes said so! I didn't know much about Lupus prior to Julia's video, but after checking out the website I have decided this cause is worthy of my money. I plan to donate $15 of my Christmas money to this cause. I would have loved to have recieved the hat that Julia knitted for the P4A, but I can't afford the current bid of $920.

The National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction - After watching Lauren from devilishlypure's Project for Awesome video, I went directly to the site where I could buy the Siriusly Smiling wizard rock compilation that supports the National Foundation for Facial Reconstuction. I bought it and I am joyously listening to it right now! It is quite hilarious, and if you are a Harry Potter fan you need it! 19 songs for $9.99 plus proceeds going to a worth cause... this deal is made of awesome!

Stand Up 2 Cancer - Michael Buckley of What the Buck Show made a video for P4A about cancer. His mother died from it and his husband's mom is suffering from it. I believe everyone knows someone with cancer or was affected by cancer, so I am planning to donate $10 of my Christmas money to Michael's team.

Kakenya's Dream - After watching Emma from FermataForce I couldn't help but feel moved to support Kakenya's Dream. I plan on donating $20 of my christmas money to this cause. This was my favorite P4A video. Fitting since I want to be a teacher and part of Kakenya's Dream is to start a school. If I had to pick just one of my choices, this would be the cause I donate to.

I am a poor college student who already donates $30 dollars a month to Compassion International for her sponsored child, Happyness, but other than books, giving is one of my greatest callings. I wish I could afford to give to all the charities from P4A, but unfortunately $55+ dollars is already too much for me. I have decided that the etsy shop I plan to open in January will be a shop that benifits charity. I plan on donating 1/2 of my proceeds to a different charity each month. I know asking people to donate to charity can be difficult, and I don't want you to give if you can't afford to, but if you can please donate some money to your favorite charity today. It doesn't have to be one of the places I chose to list here. Just go and drop a few coins in at your local supermarket bell ringer or donate your old clothes to a clothing drop box. Leave me a comment if you donated something or some money to charity this year and I will send you a free bookmark handmade by me.

Thanks for not forgeting about the reason for the season!

Happy Holidays!

Just Another Manic Monday - Winter Break Style!

Hiya!
It's the 22nd of December and I still haven't finished my Christmas shopping, making, and/or wrapping so this will be a shorter post than last weeks crazy Monday/Tuesday post. Which I am sure you will appreciate since I have a tendency to ramble a bit. I am just going to dive right in to the features since I have kinda typed my head off in the past few days. I am sorry! It's just because I am so excited to 1) finally be on break, and 2) I finally started my blog that I waited months for in anticipation. Now charge onward to the features!

Etsy Item of the Week:

This fabulous Hope ring comes from the esty shop, donnaOdesigns. How do I know it's fabulous you ask? I OWN ONE!!! Yes, I bought this ring (well rings, it comes with that skinny bubble looking one as well) as an early Christmas gift to myself. Donna was super nice and accommodated my size 9 1/2 fingers. I had been looking for a ring to replace my class ring for a while. I love that I graduated in 2007, but it's been almost 2 years now and I am a sophomore in college, so I indulged. Donna made and shipped me the rings and I received them 7 days later. When I saw Donna's name and the California address I did my happy dance at the mailbox! I am wearing both right now and don't plan to take 'em off. I would show you pictures but I am yucky looking right now and I can't get the pictures I took of myself to look cute (Yes, this means I received my digital camera a bit early, and I am still making excuses why I can't post pics, I promise they're coming). I know it maybe a bit late to order Christmas or Hanukkah gifts from Donna, but keep her in mind for up coming birthdays and special events. Her unique jewelry really makes my day, and I would share more of my favorites from her shop but I fear you will snap them up before I get a chance to spend my Christmas money on them!

Stumble Me Silly:

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, I have spent tons of time pressing my Stumble Upon button this week! I found lots of cool sites, mostly blogs, that I proceeded to give thumbs up to, send to my friend Sarah, and add to my favorites. I may even have to use some of them over the next few weeks when I am absorbed in holiday fun-ness, but the one that stood out the most is Making It Lovely.

What stood out the most was her closet. Not only were the contents fabulous, but it was all so well organized. Even though I covet her numerous print dresses and rainbow array of shoes the thing I liked the best about Nicole's closet is how she made everything look so fun. How often do you look at your closet and think, wow that looks fun?!

I know it's not often for me!

However there was more that made me want to read her blog:
1) She lives in a suburb about 20 minutes away from Chicago, IL. (That's pretty much my dream location)

2) She is making the little house she lives in into the cutest thing since puppy dogs. So cute in fact that if houses had cheeks I would pinch this one's.
3) Nicole and her husband Brandon are expecting a baby girl on April 14. (Maybe she can hold 'er in until my birthday on April 21!)

4) They currently live with a doggy named Murray, and three kitties, whom Nicole describes as: Violet (S), Mabel (M), and Kili (XXL).

5)Best of all, she owns an online shop called Pink Loves Brown, that specializes in paper goods and other lovely items.

My only regret it that I found this site after it was already too late to order Christmas presents from there. However after the holiday season dies down I anticipate I will need a paper suit case gift set for my stationary needs, some adorable cards like the Thank you one above, a pocket mirror and some book plates for my ever growing library. Man, my birthday can't come soon enough!

That's a bookshelf?

Yep, and a color coordinated one at that!

This bookshelf in the home of chotda has been featured on a few blogs before, but I just can't help but love it. Chotda's flickr profile features many amazing photos and other photos of her bookcase, but I do believe this is the best. While I could never do this in my house because of the fact that I depend heavily on alphabetization and genre organization to find my books, I appreciate the look of it and wish my bookshelves looked so pretty.

and finally...

Name your future child ______.

In case you forgot what the deal with this feature is, here is a recap from last weeks post:

So lets pretend that each week I adopt a child (oh how very Angelina of me!) and each week I will give he or she a wonderful name. What I want you to do is be brutally honest about what you think of the names and if you would ever name your child these. You have two options, tell me this is a great name or suggest a better name and argue why it's better. This is all just in good fun and if you really dislike the name don't worry I am not expecting and most likely by the time I am I will no longer like the name. I might eventually use them as character names though, if I ever write a book. But don't worry, you will not hurt my feelings if you don't like it.

This week I am adopting a wee one from Australia. I tell you I want to name him Brevin Finlay, a name I have loved recently for it's unique qualities. What do you think? Do I name him Brevin Finlay? Or do you say: No, Name Your Future Child ________.
Also I would like to give a warm welcome to the world, Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar, born on December 18th. Congratulations to Jim Bob, Michelle and the rest of the wonderful Duggar family. I know there will be many blessings in your future Jordyn-Grace.

Okay, *ding* you are now free to move about the country, or the rest of my blog, you choose! Don't forget to leave me some notes in the comments.

A Review of:An Abundance of Katherines by John Green

Better late than never. Sorry my assignment took longer than expected yesterday because my teacher couldn't get my attachments. But here's my first book review. The voters chose An Abundance of Katherines and I couldn't be happier that they did.

When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type happens to be girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. He's also a washedup child prodigy with ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a passion for anagrams, and an overweight, Judge Judy-obsessed best friend. Colin's on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which will predict the future of all relationships, transform him from a fading prodigy into a true genius, and finally win him the girl.
Letting expectations go and allowing love in are at the heart of Colin's hilarious quest to find his missing piece and avenge dumpees everywhere.

When I first heard of John Green I was watching a YouTube video by Julia Nunes. I have always been a big reader, but after I stumbled upon Bookmooch I became more involved in the reading world. My choices before always came from garage sales, friend recommendations, and whatever was new at the library. After I found Bookmooch it wasn't long before I found a few book blogs, And Another Book Read, Em's Bookshelf and Liv's Book Reviews. Through their links I discovered the blogs listed in my sidebar. When I watched Julia's video I wondered who is this John Green and why haven't I heard of him. I turned to my favorite blogs and found info about Paper Towns on Jacket Whys. For some reason I just had this gut feeling I was going to love John Green's books, and I was right! I went to Borders (I wish there were fun Indie bookstores here in the STL but sadly there is only one and it's not close to my house) a few days before Paper Towns was set to come out and to my surprise found they had put it out early (Shame on those Borders employees). I bought it and read it in 6 hours! A record for me considering my busy life. After that I was hooked and begged for a ride (I don't drive yet, I know shame on me) to buy Katherines and Looking for Alaska. I even almost traveled to Boston to see John and Julia Nunes on the Paper Towns tour, but airfare would have been terrible so I just waited until John, Hank and Katherine were in St. Louis for the Tour de Nerdfighting. Anyway on with the book reviewing.

I really loved this book! I thought Collin's character is great. While I am a nerd, yeah I said it, I don't have intellectual super powers. Collin does! He is a child prodigy who speaks multiple languages, can anagram almost anything, and does math like a calculator. Even though he is a geek and doesn't totally fit in he still manages to date 19 Katherines (well 18, one dumped him twice). I also enjoyed how Collin's character was balanced out by Hassan, his best friend. Hassan had a much more laid back and slacker type attitude. I would say I fit right in between them in personality. Lindsey is the character I liked the most though. Lindsey reminds me of my sister, or at least what I believe she will be in the future. She lives life like a popular person in High School, but really she doesn't think that is her true self.

The characters made this book what it is, but that being said, I also think the overall setting made for an interesting twist. John Green must love the idea of a road trip, as do I. He uses a road trip in this novel and in Paper Towns. However, in this road trip Collin and Hassan stay awhile. I have always wanted to go on a random road trip with no destination so I loved that.

The only negative I have to say about this book is the footnotes, I liked them but then again I didn't. If I were to write a book I would probably need footnotes as my writing is sporadic like my thoughts. I write like I speak, nothing flows but the conversation is somehow linked in my head. So I am all for footnotes, however some of the footnotes were confusing and I often missed the little numbers in the writing when I was reading. So when I got to the bottom of the page I had to search for where it was input. Also the graphs did nothing for me, the were confusing and not so useful to the book. I get that John was trying to give his book a sort of textbook feel, so that's cool, but not my style. Had I been more of a mathematician I would have probably like that part more; I am struggling to get through the beginner classes my school offers before College Algebra, so needless to say I hate math. I am not sure I would have removed the footnotes or not. If you have read the book please comment me on what you thought of the footnotes, I am interested in what you thought about them.

Overall I truly enjoyed reading this book. I am also glad I read it when I did. Since I read it following Paper Towns and after watching John and Hank's Brotherhood 2.0 videos a few more of the inside jokes caught my eye. Reading John's work along with watching him on YouTube made it seem like I was reading a book written by a good friend. I know that sounds weird but it's true. While parts of the book are scholarly others are totally from the mouth of a teen. John has this awesome ability to write incredibly well thought out books and not dumb them down for teens as so many authors do. He realizes we are smart, powerful and human beings! Which I totally believe is the mark of a great YA author.

Thanks for reading my first official book review!

While writing this review Korianne was listening to Taylor Swift's new album Fearless. (Her favorite song from the CD is "Change")

Korianne Fun Fact: She despises the word "brickle," it makes her cringe when she hears it which is thankfully not often. "Brickle" means the same as brittle or easily broken, and is often used in the name of toffee flavored ice creams called "Butter Brickle," which surprisingly Korianne enjoys.

P.S. If anyone knows how to fix my title image and stretch it the length of the header please email me or leave instuctions in the comments! There may be a handmade bookmark in it for you, Thanks!

As your body grows bigger, Your mind grows flowered, It's great to learn, 'cause knowledge is power!

Okay, so schools over and I totally don't believe my title statement! I love the Schoolhouse Rock song, but at this point I don't believe that "as your brain grows flowered, it's great to learn, cause knowledge is power." I believe that too much knowledge is a bad thing! Or at least over a short period of time. My brain is completely fried at the moment all because of that "powerful knowledge!"

I should be excited, I am done for a month, but instead I am drained. And to add to the blob like state I feel I am in, I am not truly done! Oh the horror, schools out and I still have work to do! You see, my teacher sorta canceled our final due to freezing rain. She didn't officially cancel it though, she just said if you can show up cool, if not email it too her. I was already at school so I figured I would just go up and take the final, since she had promised us a pizza party on finals day and I was hungry. After all, six inches of a Subway $5 foot long does not provide enough nourishment for 24 hours. So I went to my class expecting to answer a few questions and grab a bite of pepperoni and what do I find? Well first off I find that only 4 of my fellow classmates out of 30 have bothered to show up, second that there are no typed final questions. She said,"Well grab some pizza, turn in your final assignment, and you can leave or stick around and chat." I asked her about the final test and she said just to email it too her. So not only could I have gone home, I am not done with school! But as of 5pm tomorrow I will be, and honestly the final 2 questions are not hard, they are mainly what did you learn, but still I don't feel so free! So tomorrow I will first email her those questions but second I will post my first official review! Yippy! So I will let you vote, and if no one votes I will pick. Would you like a review of : Twilight, Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska or An Abundance of Katherines? Vote in the sidebar. Sorry it doesn't give you much choice, but it's what I have read lately. See you tomorrow after I gain my freedom!

Just Another Manic To Be Read Pile

Howdy All!
I know I said I would wait until I was on winter break, but I need a break from studying for finals and writing my final papers. Plus it is now officially my Daddy's birthday! Happy Birthday Dad! I hope it's a great one, I will see you at Christmas and you are now free of reading the rest of this lengthy blog! In honor of my Dad's birthday and since I most likely not going to be posting again until after the 18th I thought I would combine my Monday and Tuesday features. I hate to tease you with non-book related features, which is why I have included TBR Tuesday in this post. I promise there will be double book reviews when break starts. Well here it goes, hope you like my crazy random post! =)

Lets pretend it's Just Another Manic Monday even though it's 3:35 am [note: I fell asleep at around 5 in the middle of typing this and woke up to my keys yelling at me to get my head off the laptop!] and I don't really consider that Monday yet. Typical Manic Monday posts will look like this, but probably not this lengthy since I won't have to explain everything:

So it's Monday, the day we all dread! I have just come off of a long weekend. Come to think of it all my weekends are long since I don't have school on Fridays or Mondays, but this weekend was more figuratively long than literally long. You see, next week is finals week and I have mucho papers due! Couple this with the fact that is the holiday season and you get a long, stressful weekend. I have soooo much to do! Plus it doesn't help that I would rather be blogging, killing time on the Internet or watching a movie. I have on 8 page essay due Tuesday and 3 essays due Thursday along with a really long interview to type up. So what do I do? I go write my papers right? Nope, I do all that I can to keep myself away from them! Well my procrastination is your gain and now I will share my weekly finds from last week and this weekend.

My first tool for procrastination is etsy.com. I have spent a lot of time there in the last few weeks. My reason you ask, well it because I vowed to give all handmade gifts this year! I intended to make them all myself but as you can tell I am a bit busy, so the only things I will be making are my gift tags and cards. Also I am taking the cheap, but trendy route by using recycled paper grocery bags with a few stamps and stickers to wrap my gifts. So what's a girl to do when she has already decided all gifts will be handmade? She turns to etsy! Etsy.com is the perfect site for handmade gifts of all sorts. It has so many creative artists and lots of different products ranging from handmade soaps to custom made bookshelves (yeah, I can see you all drooling!). Each week I will be adding Etsy.com Items of the Week. Here are my favorites from this week:
My first find comes from a shop called Risky Beads. This shop specializes in fun jewelry with a twist. Each piece comes with a name and a story. All of the handmade pieces in this shop are spunky and cute. Lori, the artist, even lets us know that her jewelry has personality when she says, "My pieces are part bead and part soap opera. If you leave them all alone in a room, they’ll give you that pregnant ‘soap opera stare’ as you walk out because I told them to." I found lots of great items that fit different friends' personalities but the one I covet the most is this bracelet. Named, Little Red Riding Hood Lost in Manhattan, how could you pass up this gorgeous gem of a wrist adornment. I love anything that references children's literature, plus I dig the New York/Manhattan plug. Although Lori is from North Carolina she really captured the look of the city with the beads she chose. If anyone is interested in a Christmas gift for me, this is it! So if you are in need of a gift for the girl in your life weather it be Mom, little sis, love of your life, or even a little niece, Risky Beads has the perfect piece. They even feature kids jewelry and new mommy jewelry that has big beads to mesmerize babies while nursing. Lori has multiple ways to view her products and learn more about her, she has a twitter and a blog page, so if you are interested check them out. I did and I was not disappointed one bit.

My second etsy item comes from the store, Lolabot. I am a major fan of Polaroid pictures as is my friend, Sharon, who takes them when ever she can; even her facebook pix are scanned Polaroids. So when we found out that they were discontinuing the film we were devastated. Sharon went out an bought bundles of it, and now she won't let anyone have any of the Polaroids she takes because that film is valuable now! Erin, the artist at Lolabot, feels the same way, so the store now features multiple Polaroid pins including camera art, save Polaroid, and for the love of Polaroid creations. While I fear it's to late to save Polaroid, it can't hurt to try. Best of all these pins are cheap ranging in cost from $1.50- $6.50 and come in bundles from 2 to 6 or are sold individually. Definitely check out Lolabot for some fun buttons and Polaroid postcards. Oh and Sharon, no I am not so stupid that put your x-mas gift on my blog, but I will give you one hint, it is Polaroid related!

Now onto procrastination tool number two, StumbleUpon. If you haven't heard of it yet you must be living under a rock! StumbleUpon is a toolbar you install on your personal computer that allows you to literally stumble upon websites that might interest you. I tend to Stumble Myself Silly. My favorite site of the week has to do with travel. I stumbled upon Snowboard Magazine's Site while I was checking my unusually poky email on Friday. The page I saw first takes you through a trip to Japan via photographs taken by some of the magazine's photographers. My faves were the no smoking while walking one, since I have terrible asthma and I love the idea of a smoke free world, and the stray kitty without a tail, because I live with 5 adorable kitty cats.

Enough with stumble, now lets move on to another one of my obsessions. Bookshelves! What kind of self respecting reading fanatic would I be if I didn't love bookshelves! So I love googling for fun totally weird bookshelf pictures, This past week I found one that combined two of my loves, bookshelves and trees. The fabulous bookshelf below comes from a site called Design Milk and if I hadn't already ordered my Billy bookshelves from Ikea I would definitely be buying one of these. Can't you just picture yourself lounging in a bean bag by this super shelf?

That's A Bookshelf?

Heck yes it is!

And now time for my final Manic indulgence before I reveal a book from my TBR pile. Let it be known that the only thing I love more than books is baby names! Yep, I am obsessed! Even worse, I don't have children! I am 19 so they are a long ways down the line, but that doesn't keep me from pondering what my little urchins will be named. This will be my little imagine if game for Manic Mondays.

So I just adopted a wonderful little girl from Holland. I am so excited. I tell you I want to name her Briar Rose, a name I have loved a lot lately for its unique qualities. What do you think? Do I name her Briar Rose? Or do you say Name Your Future Child ________.

Have I bored you enough with Manic Monday features? Okay, sorry! Now to To Be Read Tuesday on a Monday.

I have a huge TBR (To Be Read) pile in my art room/library. Yes, I said it I do have my own art room/library, I am very lucky. I still live at home with my Madre, and I have a kinda small bed room with no room for a desk. So Mom said I could make the fourth bedroom into an art room and a room to store my books since we don't have a real need for a guest room. I wanted to show you pix but 1) It's under construction at the moment while I install bookshelves and my craft storage and 2) my digital camera is broken, so no current pix will be loaded until after I get my x-mas gifts. Anyway I am going to show you one book every Tuesday that is in my TBR pile. Then the more comments you guys leave, the more I will probably want to read this book. So if you have read this book leave me a comment about why I should put this book to the top of the pile. My TBR Choice of the Week is :

A Little Friendly Advice by Siobhan Vivian

Back cover summary:

Ruby's turning sixteen . . . but the day doesn't turn out to be as sweet as it's supposed to be. Her long lost father shows up, and Ruby doesn't want to have anything to do with him. Instead, she wants to hang out with her friends - loyal Beth, dangerous Katherine, and gossipy Maria. They have plenty of advice for her - about boys, about her dad, about how she should look and what she should be feeling. But really, Ruby doesn't know what to think or feel. Especially when a new boy comes into the picture . . . and Ruby discovers some of her friends aren't as truthful as they say.

First of all, the original reason I mooched this book(yep I'm on bookmooch.com, my BM id is koratheexplora) is because of the cover. As I mentioned earlier in the post, I like Polaroid! Plus I am a sucker for a good cover. I know bad, I judge books by their covers, but not all the time. If I read a good or bad review that is more powerful than any fabulous cover. Second I really like the gossipy tone the book seems to have. When I read the back cover I just get this feeling I will love it. Not to mention it totally follows my rule of reading books when I like the main characters' name! (I warned you earlier about the name obsession, sorry!) So if you have read this, leave me a comment, I want to know if I should get my hopes up or keep pushing this one farther down in the pile.

Okay, so now that you are sick of me! I am done, be free, go read, and possibly leave me a comment!

See you after the 18th! Oh and if you know my Dad, wish him a Happy Birthday for me, okay?

This is the Start of Something New!

Hello! If you haven't figured it out yet I'm Korianne.

I am starting this blog mostly for me to be able to remember what I thought about the books I have read and when I read them. However this blog is also for anyone who thinks reading is sexy! Reading is pretty much my passion. If someone was to ask what type of freak I am, I would definitely reply Reading Freak! I have loved to read ever since I read Judy Bloom's Are You There God, It's Me Margaret in the 4th grade. So, while not every aspect of this blog will be book related, most of it will.

In an effort to keep myself on task I am sort of going to implement a schedule. My schedule is subject to change, but you get the idea. Here it is:

Mondays:
Mondays are crazy for me and reviewing a book would most likely not happen, so Mondays will be called Just Another Manic Monday, and they will feature all the things I am interested in that are not related to book. Things such as: Etsy.com Item of the Day, Stumble Me Silly, That's a Bookshelf? and Name Your Future Child ________. Which I will explain further on Monday.

Tuesdays:
Tuesdays are sorta like normal people's Mondays, I don't have school on Mondays so Tuesdays are my first day back. This also means like my Mondays I probably won't be able to post a review. So Tuesdays will be To Be Read Tuesdays. This will be a feature where I tell you about the books that are piling up in my bookshelf thanks to my bookmooch.com obsession. I have so many books that I haven't read yet, which makes me happy, but also overwhelmed. This is a way to tell you a bit about a book that I want to read but might not get around to for a while. Also if you are lucky this may also include pictures of my enormous TBR pile.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays:
Any one of these days may include my book reviews. I hope to be adding a book review a week, but depending on my book appetite it might be less. Comments and emails will definitely keep me motivated, so send them my way!

Saturdays:
Children's Book Review! (needs a better title, any suggestions?) Since I am a future teacher/school librarian I have been adding lots of kiddie books to my library. On Saturdays I will review one or more children's book I have read that week.

Well that's about it! I am so glad you dropped by my blog and I hope to see lots of your comments soon! I will officially start my blogging when my school break starts on the 18th.

Oh and yes, I do realize I titled this post with lyrics from HSM!
