TBR Tuesday - Sleepaway Girls by Jen Calonita

When Sam's best friend gets her first boyfriend, she's not ready to spend the summer listening to the two of them call each other "pookie." Sick of being a third wheel, Sam applies to be a counselor-in-training at Whispering Pines camp in the New York Catskills. But what she doesn't realize is that it's not going to be all Kumbaya sing-alongs and gooey s'mores. If Ashley, the alpha queen of Whispering Pines, doesn't ruin Sam's summer, then her raging crush on the surfer-blond and flirtatious Hunter just might. At least she has playful Cole, who's always teasing her, but is oh-so-comfortable to hang out with, and the singular gang of girls that become fast friends with Sam-they call themselves the Sleepaway Girls.

As I said in my vlog yesterday I got Sleepaway Girls from the lovely Sarah from Sarah's Random Musings. I am really excited to read it. It looks very cute and light. I think it will really get me amp'd about the start of summer. Which by the way, started for me today! Yep, that's right I am done with classes for the semester! It's too bad I am taking summer classes, so I won't get to enjoy it as much. It's still nice to get to enjoy the summer weather and fun activities!

Also, yesterday I forgot to show you in the vlog, but I got some more new shoes! They are called "Flower Mania" by Union Bay and I love them! They are a lot more colorful than they look in this picture. They are sort of trippy and acid-y which is awesome! God, I need to stop with this shoe obsession!

That's all I have for you guys today!

While writing this post Korianne was listening to Aly & AJ.

Korianne Fun Fact: When she was younger, every summer her mom's cousin Sarah would come to live with Korianne's family. Korianne always refers to Sarah as her older sister.

  4. I know how you feel with the shoes. I was trying to show someone mine, and I had to go to two different storeys of my house and take a half dozen pictures to show them all.

  5. Kate: They are so funky monkey! I heart them so much! I promise, more reviews up soon.

Thao: Thank you! I promise, my reviews are coming. I know I have been slacking.

Summer: If it weren't for TBR Tuesday, I would have totally titled this post that! When does your summer start? *must resist the urge to make a pun about your name*

Laina: This was the only picture I took, but yes I paraded around the house in them. I haven't worn them outside, I am afraid to get them dirty. But I really should break them in before NYC. I would love to see your shoes if you wouldn't mind sharing btw!
