Korianne Fun Fact: She will be attending her first Wrock concert in July.
I just finished the first Maximum Ride book and liked it a lot. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
ReplyDeleteAww, you're very welcome! Yes, it was for honorable mention in Yan's scary dolls contest. I'm glad it made you feel better!
ReplyDeleteI wish they had the book here. I've been wanting to read this one so much. And I agree, lovely cover.
ReplyDeleteKatie: It's not what I typically read, but it was recommended by many friends. So I hope I like it too!
ReplyDeleteKatie Alender: I saw the first prize and grab bag contest winners, I guess Yan's second honorable mention post must have slipped past me in my google reader. Also, your bookplate was so scrapbook-y! I love it! I think you and I should have a craft night or something! We totally have the same taste in handmade things!
Thao: Wait, which book? The Dark Divine? If you can get the publisher to give you a copy I will angel it to you like I did for Kate, just pay shipping.
Naming bookshelves? I'm lucky if I can name my car.. Hrm. No ideas coming out.
ReplyDeleteI seriously love your vlogs. You're too funny.
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible at naming things, so I've got nothing for your bookshelves. :(
And you have so many books!! I am envious.
LOL I was just going through my google reader and yes it's all Katie's fault ;P She went a bit crazy on the eye pillows and used me to get rid of it xD
ReplyDeleteKori.
ReplyDelete=[
I miss you.
xoxo
Kristen: Yes, I name everything. Evidence of just a few of my "friends" can be found in this post: http://koriannespeaks.blogspot.com/2009/04/beda-day-8-meet-my-friends.html By the way, the car's name is Lucy.
ReplyDeleteMichieBee: I am glad I am humourous to you! lol I don't really think I am that funny. Perhaps it's just my weirdness that is funny. That's ok about the bookshelf names, it seem no one has ideas.
Yan: Katie's fault? NO it's no one's FAULT! I was so excited! Thanks to you and to her!
Devyn: I mish you too. We need to skype when I am less busy. Later today maybe?
LOL, Yan didn't warn you I was sending something? Soon I'll be known on the internet as Katie "Stalker" Alender.
ReplyDeleteI do think we have the same taste for the homemade goodies! Someday we'll do crafty time... someday!
Katie Alender: No she did not. It just sort of showed up at my house like the best surprise ever! After I got over the excited jump up and down stage I began to think, "What is this for? How did Katie Alender get my address? Oh, well I am sure she got it from a reliable source." I am a creepy stalker too, it's ok! lol. But don't be surprised if I send a handmade goody to your return address sometime soon! And someday crafty time would be so awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've always named my computers and cars, but I never thought to name my bookshelves...
ReplyDeleteYou should name them after your favorite authors. So, you can say things like, "Yes, John Green and I are hanging out this afternoon. He holds my books for me."
iamliterate: BEST. IDEA. EVER! I will let you guys know which ones have been named what in my next vlog!
ReplyDeletewow, your friend is lucky with a friend like you!
ReplyDeletehave that same ''sorry we don't send international'' problem with review books.
love your blog, its fun!
Marjolein (www.marjoleinbookblog.blogspot.com )
Marjolein: Oh, bummer! Well if you ever need me to be your book angel I would love to do so!
ReplyDeleteOMFG WINTERGIRLS AND A NORTHERN LIGHT. *fangirls*
ReplyDeleteI thought you should know that I started clapping when I saw TGDT on your shelf. No joke. I have my father as a witness.
Is your bookshelf a boy or a girl? If it's a girl, I say Tammy or Lorelei. If it's a boy...then I don't know. Hehe.
