While writing this post Korianne was listening to herself on video talk like a loon.
Korianne Fun Fact: She is now officially a published photographer. (More info to follow in the next post.)
Great books you got this week. Most of them looked really interesting. Hope you enjoy reading them all.
ReplyDeleteRebecca: Thank you! I hope I enjoy them too!
ReplyDeleteI loved the into and everything!!! Glad your kidneys are okay! Have fun in the Ozarks. Haven't been there in YEARS.
ReplyDeleteF My Life sounds soooo good! I've been on the site before, though.
And I do believe you said "Noël" right, because in French, I learned that if it has the two dots of a letter than you pronounce those two vowels...
I really wanna read Ballads of Suburbia! AND Boyology sounds really good! I would love to read something like that.
:)
Awesome week and glad you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just you, when you held up Gravel Queen I was wondering what KStew was doing on the cover of it, lol And I love the picture you got from Vania - her photos rock!

Here's my vegetarian speech (I used to write health books), although you probably already know all this: You can get wonderfully complete protein by combining any legume (such as beans, lentils, split peas) and any grain. Like a peanut butter sandwich - of course milk helps, too. I'm not vegetarian any more (I can't eat wheat, rye, or barley, so decided my diet was too limited) but I still eat tons of brown rice and black beans - very healthy. Also wonderfully cheap, handy once you are out on your own. Buy the dry ones, soak overnight, cook, add spices, and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAnd take B vitamin supplements.
Bianca: You could not possibly love the intro, but whatever. The Ozarks were pretty fun, now I am at my Noonie & Kap's right now. F My Life is pretty funny. I know that Noël is how you are taught to say it but I have heard more people say Nole, so I was confused. Oh, and I have awesome news I will be in KC this year for a weekend! My sister has a cheer competition there, but I don't know the date at the moment. I will keep you posted.
ReplyDeleteAmber: Yep, it's K-Stew with better hair. I am just not loving the Joan Jett cut on her.
Sara J. Henry: Thank you so much for the tips! I know most of what I need to be doing as a vegetarian, but I am just bad about doing it. I will keep those in mind though and if I ever have and questions I will be sure and ask you!
Loved your vlog!! And Vania's photography is awesome-- You are lucky you won a picture! Happy reading. x)
ReplyDeleteEli: Thank you! And yes Vania's photography is awesome! I am keeping my fingers crossed I find a good frame while thrifting tomorrow.
